Photography on Horseback Cancer Warriors
Every year I dedicate the last weekend of May to Female Cancer Fighters and Survivors.
Having been through cancer and chemo myself, I know how hard it is. This is my way of helping you move forward, by creating amazing memories and bonding time with others that truly know what it’s like to go through cancer.
One of my saving graces while undergoing chemo was going to the mountains with my beloved Rowdie and riding.
It wasn’t always easy, yet I did it anyway. Most rides were only 1-2 hrs, though the difference it made in my mental state was, honestly, life saving.
I want to share with you the beauty of the west country from the back of your horse. While doing so, I will capture not only beautiful photos of you and your horse, but the memories of this adventure as well.
I want you to experience this incredible opportunity and assist you in your journey. I am not a therapist, but your horse is.
They have kept us sane, when nothing else could.
They have kept us going, when we wanted to quit.
They have loved us unconditionally, no matter how much we cried, or how much hair we lost.
They listened to us, without pity or judgement.

Miss Laura on Penny
Miss Laura, has undergone Gamma Knifing, Chemo, Radiation and multiple surgeries.
We are beyond excited to tell you that she has beat the cancer!!

Miss Michelle on Chief
Miss Michelle has undergone surgery and they caught it in time, so that she did not need any other treatment.
If only every case could be like that of Miss Michelle’s.
Side Note: This will be Miss Michelle’s Third year joining us on this adventure.
Myself (Sharon) on Rowdie
I have undergone surgery as well as chemo in 2018.
With great joy, I would like to announce that I am cancer free.
At the time of this photo, it had only been 2 months since Rowdie had lost his eye to cancer. He is my heart and I’m so grateful that he too is a survivor.

Sharon has captured some amazing pictures for me with my dogs as well as taken me on horseback to spots I never dreamed I could go. She’s a very experienced rider and photographer and I feel her confidence when she leads me through the forest to waterfalls and rivers. She’s taken the best photo memories of me on horse back as well as just personal pictures of just me by myself or with my dog. Oh and if you just need a photo of the horse or dog, family or kids…. She’s got a gift for capturing those extra special moments. Don’t miss out!!

I had the most amazing photos shoot trip with Sharon! We went to this beautiful waterfall and river and took gorgeous pictures and were visited by some curious mountain sheep. Then we rode thru a herd of elk up onto the ridge to take gorgeous pictures with the mountains as our backdrop! One evening at dusk we walked the horses out to a beautiful spot to take in hand pictures! We rode thru rivers and across the meadows and thru the most breath taking views! We also created lasting memories around the camp fire too! Definitely book your photo shoot immediately!
